Ingredients


Makes: 36 servings
  • 9 phyllo pastry sheets, (thawed, if frozen)
  • 1/2 C (125 ml) melted butter
  • 2 C (500 ml) cream cheese or brie cheese
  • 1 jar Red Pepper Jelly, or Cranberry Sauce

Preparation


 
  • Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
  • Place one sheet of phyllo on work surface,keeping other sheets covered with a damp towel to prevent drying. Lightly brush sheet with butter. Top with second sheet, and brush with butter. Top with third sheet, and brush with butter.
  • Cut lengthwise into thirds. Cut crosswise into quarters to make 12 squares.
  • Spoon approximately 1 tsp (5 ml) cream cheese and 1 tsp (5 ml) of Red Pepper Jelly or Cranberry Sauce in centre of each square.
  • Bring up corners, gathering up sides, and twist at the top of each bite.
  • Place on Sheet Pan lined with Bake & Roll or parchment paper. Repeat with remaining phyllo sheets.
  • Bake until golden, approximately 15–20 minutes
